What I Wore and What I Did In Philly Last Weekend

I thought I'd take this opportunity when it was less than 90F (barely, though) to put on a cute dress and have a day out in Philadelphia. Plus, I had heard that there was going to be an ice cream festival at Reading Terminal Market, so I wanted to check it out!

With the Marks & Spencer X Alexa Chung collaboration dress and the Mulberry Alexa satchel, it ended up being a very Alexa Chung themed outfit. I never intend to fully cosplay her, but that's just what happens when I own so many pieces she's either designed or worn. And she's my style icon, of course I wanna dress like her.

I was excited to wear this dress out after hunting for it on Vinted for a while. I was never able to find it in my size until one day, a few months ago, I opened the app and there it was at the top of my recommended feed, in my size! It was $6, free shipping, and the listing had only been posted 10 minutes before.

It was definitely too hot to wear leggings under my dress this day, but I can rarely ever stop myself from wearing leggings, tights, or knee socks with a dress/skirt/shorts. It's so core to my style.

I can also rarely ever stop myself from going with my Ray-Bans when choosing a pair of sunglasses to wear, they're my favorites.

First, stopped at The Bakeshop on Twentieth for a lemon sugar cookie

Hung out in the mall for a bit to cool off. Primadonna by Marina started 

playing while I was in Victoria's Secret. I was very tempted to buy some 

cozy Pink joggers to wear to sleep in the fall and winter, but I stayed strong 

and saved my money (for now)
