Another opportunity to quote "Going Shopping" by The Strokes in a post about me going shopping. Their new album just dropped last week, so I thought the timing was pretty good.

Last Saturday, I got to see one of my favorite artists live for the sixth time: Jack White. It was amazing as always! My first time seeing Jack live was in 2019 when I was very lucky to get early entry and a spot at the barricade at a Raconteurs show, and since then I have seen him solo five times now.

Moments From 2016

I only recently learned how to search Gmail by date range, meaning that I was able to find emails from 10+ years ago. Among a sea of Forever 21 sales, FAFSA reminders that I ignored because I ended up not going to college, and Bernie Sanders campaign mail, I uncovered several emails I had sent to myself. What was in these emails? A bunch of old photos of 17 year old me that I had not seen in years. They were all from 2016, most of them from my final days as a high school senior, and a few of them from the summer right after graduating.

Beware: photos of myself pre-bangs and nose piercing ahead.
