  Since I just got one of my dream fragrances for Christmas, I thought I'd go over my whole collection! It's still a small collection, but I'm so happy with the ones I have so far. I love looking at the pretty bottles displayed on my dresser, sitting on a silver Burberry tray that I got from Ebay for $9. I'm excited to slowly add more to my perfume collection. I am by no means a fragrance critic, and I am not super knowledgeable about notes. I just like what I like! So I will not be giving any proper reviews here, I'll just say something about it if I have something to say. Marc Jacobs Honey Top notes: pear, juicy mandarin Middle notes: Orange blossom, peach nectar, apricot, honeysuckle Base notes: Honey, golden vanilla, smooth woods Starting with the perfume I've owned the longest, Marc Jacobs Honey. Honestly, it's my least favorite that I own, but it's nearly empty because for a while it was the only one I had. The scent is just not very "me"...

  I am wearing Chanel Le Vernis 599: Provocation! I mostly keep my nails pretty simple, just one color on my natural nails and I let it chip away until there's more bare nail than color. I also usually cut them all the way down to tiny nubs because i can't stand the feeling of long nails anymore. My teen self would be so disappointed to know this because in high school I'd grow them out to be about twice as long as my nail beds and into a stiletto shape! Yes, I've always had very strong, fast-growing nails. It used to be a blessing when I loved to keep them long, but now I get annoyed having to trim them so often. Instead of my usual round shape, I tried to do more of a rounded square here. I think they look nice, but I'm not sure if I will stick to this shape since even having just the corners of my nails a bit longer than usual is starting to irritate me. 

Owls were everywhere in 2012, especially on jewelery! The most iconic of course, was this particular style owl necklace, on a long chain. In my teen years, right before I converted to exclusively wearing soft grunge Tumblr style chokers to school every day, I was always seen wearing one of my favorite long necklaces that I had probably bought from Forever 21 or H&M. My owl necklace was my most worn. I have not seen that necklace in about a decade and I had really been missing it, so I recently bought a new (secondhand) one from Mercari! Over the past couple years I've been rebuilding a collection of long necklaces, and I'm so happy I finally got a new owl necklace. I also have a matching ring that I bought last year! The actual owl necklace I had back then looked exactly like this one below, I bought it from Wet Seal. It wasn't the only piece of owl jewelry I had in middle/high school.
