Bandage Dress I Wish I Could Wear

It looks like it fits, but it REALLY doesn't.

During my latest "I Have Too Many Clothes I Don't Need And It's Stressing Me Out" wardrobe cleanouts, I came across this dress in one of my drawers. A grey and black strapless mini bandage dress that I bought on Mercari last year. It was advertised as Bebe, however that was a lie. The tag has some strange brand on it that doesn't even come up with any results when I google it, so I'm assuming I unintentionally bought a secondhand Amazon dress. It's still so cute though! Too bad I can't wear it.

As a flat-chested girl, strapless and I usually do not get along. Many dresses and tops are not designed for someone with my nonexistent bust size. The pit-to-pit would need to be extra tiny so it could cling to me for dear life. I took a chance on this dress when I saw it on Mercari because I loved it so much, and I thought the chest measurement would work for me. I was very sad to find out that it does not.

I came to the conclusion that I would have to part ways with this dress. Why keep it if I will literally never be able to wear it without having a disastrous wardrobe malfunction? So I decided to put it on for the first and last time, with some tights, heels, and a tiara, and take some pictures in it as a farewell.

Unfortunately, seeing the dress on myself only made me want to hold on to it even longer. Maybe I can take it in at the bust to make it fit me? Industrial strength double-sided tape? I should have just thrown the dress in my selling pile without even saying goodbye to it.
