A Grey Day in NYC

I wanted to do a quick post about what I wore the other day when I went to New York to see a taping of Late Night With Seth Meyers. These were the only shots I was able to get of my outfit before I had to run for my bus. In this photo here I look about as moody as the weather was that day. I know most people would be upset about a cloudy 50F day in late April, but as someone who hates heat, I appreciated it.

I knew this would be one of my last opportunities to wear my army green jacket before it gets too hot to wear any jacket at all, and the big pockets were perfect since the bag I chose for the day couldn't hold everything I needed. This 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli mini satchel is now my favorite crossbody bag. Maybe one of my favorite bags in general, it's so cute!!

Even though it had been a while since I wore my Alexa Chung for AG Jeans denim skirt, it's still one of my favorites. I had one exactly like it from Forever 21 in high school when this button down a-line style was popular, but this one is obviously a big upgrade in quality.

When I bought these Clarks brogues from Vinted last year, I didn't expect that they would be such a click-clacky shoe to walk around it, but I don't mind it at all. I enjoyed clacking around the streets of NYC.

  As the title suggests, this OOTD is from about a month ago. When it comes to the warmer half of the year, I am the opposite of most people. It makes me miserable. I always dread the day the clocks jump forward an hour. It affects my mood so negatively, exactly how others might feel during a cold, dark winter.
